Zero Emission Summer Portrait

My first impression about Octo is that he looks exactly like those cool stylish guys that you might have probably seen on the street of Shinjuku or Harajuku, Japan. We had this summer portrait session with Octo Yuen in Zero Carbon Building, Kowloon Bay.

Octo Yuen is from Hong Kong and he is a visual designer. I really like his style and he really looks like Japanese. When I met him, I told him that he looks like Japanese, he laughed and said that probably because of his tiny eyes.

What is a Zero Carbon Building? ZCB is a building with zero net energy consumption or zero net carbon emissions on an annual basis.

In recent year, low or zero carbon buildings have attracted much attention in many countries because they are considered as an important strategy to achieve energy conservation and reduce greenhouse gases emissions. You can see photovoltaic panels on the roof of the building that generate renewable energy, urban native woodland, and many more. You may come to visit ZCB if you are in Kowloon Bay. This place is just right in front of Megabox mall.

It was a pleasure to work with Octo. It is our first experience shooting at ZCB and we enjoyed it very much. Here are some of my favourite shots.
