MY DIARY

This is my photography diary, it is something fun that I like to do with passion and love. I believe time is priceless, you cannot own it but you can use it. You cannot keep it but you can spend it. Once you have lost it, you can never get it back. Time flies but memories last forever. Photography is the best way to preserve the memories.

Summer Splash

This is a summer splash portaits which I shot back in Summer, Hong Kong. This is my second collaboration with Franziska. The location of the shot was at Repulse Bay.

The Love of Mother and Daughter

She had to catch her flight at 1pm and she asked me to give her a lifestyle portrait shoot with her daughter in Hong Kong. The schedule was really tight and we had to start our shoot from 8am and end by 10am so that she could reach Hong Kong Airport by 11am.

Good Friends Forever

Kabin was unsure how to pose and could not stop checking the sample pictures of model posing from her phone. I wanted capture their portraits naturally so I took away her phone and told her: Relax, you dont need this, just follow my lead.

Carmen and Brian Pre-Wedding

We scheduled the portrait session for two hours from 4pm. However, the makeup artist spent more than two hours to do the make up and hair causing us half an hour behind original schedule. But we were lucky because it was a good weather with good enough of natural lights for almost two hours in the evening.

Sunday Portrait

Kowloon Bay has lots of shops and small factories, since it was Sunday the streets were pretty empty with less traffics, thus making our shoots a lot easier.

Hou And Yen

Yen would grab her smart hone and show us the sample poses which she downloaded online, then we tried to imitate the poses. There was lots of laughter throughout the photoshoot.

Kwan And Amos

It was not an ideal timing for the shooting because the natural sun lighting was very harsh. Luckily there were many huge trees in the park, so I used the trees as the shade while maintaining enough natural lights.

Lifestyle Student Pictures

It was a collaboration with Gloria Sit and Mina Lai. We did out planning since September because shooting the photos was the easy part but sourcing for the uniforms was the hardest part.

Lifestyle Portrait at Art Centre

In order to make the day productive instead of disappointment, I suggested Alina that we could do lifestyle shoot at a different location with roof cover so that we would not need to bother about the weather. The Jockey Club Creative Art Centre (JCCAC) at Shek Kip Mei was the perfect place for the lifestyle shoot.

Vincent Family Expecting New Born

Vincent and May's 4 years old daughter, Chloe was a little bit shy when I met her. So I tried to make her feel comfortable with me by talking to her and playing some songs with her Ukulele. She started to talk more after she felt more comfortable.

The Ukulele Girl

It was September and it was still summer. It was little tough to shoot because the weather was very hot. But slightly better compare to last two months ago as the weather now feels a bit refreshing as it is approaching autumn. Victoria Park has lots of big trees to block the direct sunlight, so we shot the pictures with ease under the shade.
